Abstract:

There has been a considerable research effort on feature selection over
the last few decades. However, this approach of either selecting or
deselecting a given feature may not be appropriate in certain scenarios
since there may be very different degrees of relevance even among relevant
features. This talk presents a method to calculate feature weights under
the unsupervised learning framework used in data clustering, as well as
present and future applications.
