UNIVERSITY OF HERTFORDSHIRE COMPUTER SCIENCE RESEARCH COLLOQUIUM presents "Artistic Explorations with Biomedical Science and Technology" Anna Dumitriu (Artist-in-Residence, School of Computer Science, University of Hertfordshire) 27 April 2016 (Wednesday) 1 pm - 2 pm Hatfield, College Lane Campus Lecture Theatre LF233 Everyone is Welcome to Attend Refreshments will be available Abstract: Anna Dumitriu, artist in residence in the School of Computer Science at The University of Hertfordshire will be talking about her experience of cross-disciplinary collaborative working. She will discuss her own experiences of creating art embedded in bioscience and technology settings and will describe some personal projects, for example working with the Modernising Medical Microbiology project at The University of Oxford, and exploring the field of synthetic biology at the University of California Irvine. She will also talk about her work mentoring and curating embedded residencies for other artists through European Union funded projects.
