Abstract:

Tensors are not just higher dimensional arrays, they are higher order extensions to vectors and matrices.
They capture multi-linear structures more efficiently than matricising higher dimensions datasets. Dimensionality 
curse performance degradation is addressed using various approaches. This talk will survey tensor decomposition
techniques and their applications in data mining and machine learning in several domains, along with performance
evaluations, challenges and future trends.
