Abstract:

This talk will present some results of using socially assistive robots
through social interactions for health related goals, more specifically
on quality of life improvement (companion robot). The presentation will
include a description of different experiences where robots interact
with humans in a primary school and a game where a robot successfully
plays using a multi-modal interaction and ubiquitous computing. More
important, some insights and outcomes will be given in developing Human
Robot Interaction applications (i.e. human-robot dialogue with shared
perception, personalization and social behaviours).
