session, focusing on developments in e-resources, useful for reporting research
at the University of Hertfordshire, covering the following topics:

-Information databases for academic and professional research 
-Internet databases for Higher Education 
-Getting access to University Information Resources 
-The search cycle 
-Better search techniques: free text, focused, thesaurus, refined searching 
-Saved searches and user profiles 
-Current awareness service 
-Acquiring full text of articles and papers 
-Bibliographic management software
